Worrying about currency and valuable documents is not something I want to have on my mind when I travel. Over time, I have collected a quiver of what I will call anti-loss products. They come from a variety of sources, and manufacturers and work best when they are used together as an integrated system.
Although I have used money belts in the past, one of my new favourite deep storage solutions is the RFID-Blocking Hidden Travel Wallet from Lewis N. Clark. By deep storage I mean keeping things deep under the cover of clothing. Keeping things so deep, that it’s difficult for you to access in public, keeps it safe. If it’s hard for you to get to, it’s hard for someone else to steal. A wallet like the RFID-Blocking Hidden Travel Wallet from Lewis N. Clark. is something you really can only easily access in the privacy of your accommodation, a restroom stall or a dressing room. For easy access to currency for your daily purchases, other strategies must be employed.
I have at least two of these wallets, one black and one tan. The tan colour is suitable for everyday use with a variety of casual clothing. The black one? Well you never can tell when you might need deep storage during a formal event when you’re wearing a suit.
Beyond being able to buy this wallet in two colours, each comes with two belt loops, brown and black. You can attach either to your belt so that the loop is camouflaged against the colour of your belt. Once connected to your belt, you tuck the wallet inside your pants, concealing it deep under the cover of clothing. I like to wear it so that it lies completely under the existing pocket of my shorts or pants. I feel this makes it look more natural. Having RFID-Blocking technology built right into the wallet helps keep the personal information stored on your credit card or passport safe from electronic identity theft scanners.
